Day 9 – Deutsches Museum

As you can see, today was the most interesting day yet. We began by walking to the subway and taking it to the middle of Munich. From there we walked past lots of big buildings and historic buildings and after a while we finally got to the museum. The first  thing I notice about this museum is its size (it is gigantic), the second thing I notice about the museum  (and this is when we’re inside), is just how many things they have.  They had many cool objects such as: boats of all kinds and from all time periods, strange electricity/energy machines, an entire exhibit on steel (from mining and making to using), planes, more energy exhibits, and by the time we got through all of that it felt like we hadn’t even gone through half the museum.  My favorite exhibition was the one for the planes.

  1. That IS one giant museum. You could probably spend days there and not see it all. Sounds like you made some good choices on the exhibits. Thanks for the update. Oma Jane
