Day – 3 New York Here We Come

This day started with a lot of driving to be exact 6 hours of it. When we got to the hotel we stretched out our legs and relaxed for about half an hour. Then we had to head over to the Freedom Tower. We took the underground train/subway from our Marriott we got there at least 20 minutes early. So we checked out the memorial pools when it was time we went inside there was 5 elevators. They each went at an outstanding 27.375 miles per hour or mph once we were at the top there was an observatory. it had a really fancy restaurant to bad there was no seating. Still it was ok because we weren’t really hungry at all but there was a astounding view.

I know right beautiful it is also probably one the scariest things I have ever experienced looking straight at the road and the people the people looked like ants from this height. I know you’re probably thinking that those building’s are like ten stories but they’re not they are more like 50 – 80 stories tall. Of course you’re thinking how tall is the Freedom Tower. It is exactly 104 stories tall it is the biggest building in the whole USA and the 6th tallest building in the world.

  1. Nice writing, Leo! I would not enjoy being 108 stories off of the ground even though the views are spectacular. You are brave! NY city is a pretty awesome place to visit isn’t it? Thanks for keeping us updated on your travels!😍

  2. Leo. nice blog on the job ( or is it the other way around). Glad you guys are having a good time. This is a real question with a honest answer……….Which is taller; the Freedom Tower or a stack of one trillion one dollar bills?……………………………The answer is, you could stack over 1000 Freedom Towers on top of each other and the stack of trillion one dollar bills would still be over 100 miles taller than that!! A trillion dollars is a lot of moola…… opa.
