we started the day by packing up and heading out of our hosts’ house. Then we went to bunker hill, saw the memorial and went to the museum. inside we found a accurate model of the battle and plenty of other interesting items. We then went to the USS constitution (or old ironsides, it doesn’t matter what you call it ). despite being called old ironsides the ship is actually made entirely of wood but it is very sturdy and survived a direct encounter from an armed French merchantmen ship without a scratch. after the constitution we saw an armed navy destroyer from WW2 called the USS cassin young and then hit the road for Philadelphia.
