Day 8: Canyons and Telluride

We started the day by visiting Colorado national monument, and vast series of canyons and valleys, out by grand junction. Next we drove to the black canyon of the Gunnison for a very different canyon experience. The black canyon was mostly plants and grey rocks, while the Colorado was mostly tan and light red rocks and sand. After that we drove to Telluride, checked into the hotel, and went out for dinner (very good fondue).
